Six Poor Folk
Knaresborough
We’re putting the love back into food.Sometimes a quick fix is all you need, but we want your visit to Six Poor Folk to be much more than that. We pack our food full of flavour and bring it to your table with a true sense of pride. We like taking humble, less well known cuts of meat and transforming them into something remarkable (we’re talking prep time in excess of six hours!)It’s not just about the meat; at Six Poor Folk crustaceans are king and vegetables are more than just an accompaniment. We create standalone fish and vegetarian dishes even the most fervent carnivores would be hard pushed to resist. It’s a labour of love and we wouldn’t have it any other way.A polite request…All this care and attention takes time. So during a busy service there may be a wait for your food. Thankfully our regulars have become friends, they’re more than happy to patiently sit back and soak up the atmosphere. We hope you will do the same.We look forward to sharing our bistro with you.
