William & Victoria is a family run restaurant and wine bar serving traditional British food in the heart of Harrogate. Owned and run by the Straker family for over 20 years, you are assured a warm welcome from David and his team whenever you visit.
William & Victoria has developed a reputation for great food served in a relaxed and unfussy style, using only the freshest ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. We pride ourselves on good service and value for money.
The upstairs restaurant has recently been refurbished and the menu fine tuned to make it ideal for that special occasion, whereas our downstairs busy ‘bistro style’ wine bar serves good wholesome food at reasonable prices.

William & Victoria upstairs restaurant is elegantly decorated and makes a perfect setting to enjoy a meal that embraces a passion for tradition and excellence. The menu is fine tuned to include many Great British classics with ingredients sourced from local suppliers. The specials board changes regularly taking advantage of seasonal ingredients.
Our early birds menu is available daily from 6pm until 7.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6pm to 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays. It offers an excellent value two or three course dinner..... ideal for theatre goers or a retreat after a busy day's shopping.
Private functions The upstairs restaurant and bar is available for private parties with seating for up to 60 guests. Private dining is available for more intimate parties of up to 24 and 34, making it perfect for that special occasion or important business function.
